Taylor + Chris // Wedding//09.26.12

Meet Taylor + Chris. One of the sweetest, most genuine couples I’ve met to date [and most fun]. One of my favorite things about this wedding day was spending the morning with Taylor and seeing that she really wasn’t concerned about anything that happened around her.. she just could not WAIT to marry Chris. Their excitement for one another was just contagious!
I just love these two and can’t wait to share their wedding with you!

Haley + Justin // Wedding//09.12.12

Lots of great things coming out of the LHP editing room in the next few weeks! Next up, Haley + Justin and their sweet Fountain City/Club Laconte wedding day! One of my very favorite moments of the their day was the adorable first look. Haley decided to hide and have Justin come and find her in the sanctuary. What a precious moment! It’s definitely featured in the blog for you to see the cuteness for yourself. Congrats Haley + Justin and thanks for letting me be a part of your perfect day!

Allison + Casey // Wedding//09.12.12

Such a perfectly wonderful wedding! Allison + Casey pulled out all the stops for their fun filled, beautiful wedding in Bristol, TN a few months ago. My jaw literally dropped when I first laid eyes on the gorgeous church building and every detail fell perfectly in place to match. I feel honored to have been a part of this event + to have met such awesome people. Thanks guys and I wish you every happiness for the next 50, 60, 80 years!

Congratulations to Jessica + Jared! I can’t say enough great things about this wedding + this couple! From the mason jars, to the flowers, to the UT football infused decor + ceremony moments.. this event was perfectly elegant and perfectly southern. I enjoyed every single moment of this day and thank Jess + Jared so very much for letting me come along for the ride. I have to give a huge shout out to the amazing working with me for this one Anna Hedges, Leah Price and my sweet intern Morgan Farr.. you guys are top shelf photographers!

The Ketterer Family // Adoption Ceremony//08.06.12

Let me introduce you to one of the me most special families I’ve ever met… the Ketterers! These guys are legit and have taught me so much in such a short amount of time just by being them.. and living their lives. The stories that have come from their faith and just trusting God fully over the last few years have blown me away and left me saying “I want those stories too”. Meeting them through some friends of ours led me to be the one shooting their Adoption Ceremony for their sons. I could not have been more blessed by being a part of this event. This family is truly blessed and doing great things in Jesus’s name. I’m thankful to know them!

If there is any message they want to spread through the ceremony itself it’s the story of adoption through foster care. Due to limitations within the foster care system they can’t publicly encourage or promote adoption through foster care since their primary, legal goal is to reunite the child with their bio-parents. Spread the word! Adoption through foster-parenting is a beautiful beautiful thing! See for yourself!

Amanda + Dustin // Engagements//06.19.12

So let me tell you a little story. There was this girl who was head over heels for this guy while that same guy was completely smitten with that very girl. So, the two of them decide to spend the day together taking a stroll in downtown Knoxville. At the time the Dogwood Arts Festival is in full swing and one of the exhibits being shown was a collection of street chalk art. After admiring some of the work the guy decides it would be a neat idea for the two of them to draw their own chalk pictures. The guy and girl find a spot of bare concrete in an ally nearby, sit back to back and begin drawing pictures with their chalk.. the only rule of the game was that the pictures were a secret until they were complete.. where there would then be a final reveal. Once the guy and they girl were finished.. they stood up, counted to three and spun around.. there in blue and white were the words “Will You Marry Me?” written by the guy. The girl, throws up her hands, screams “YES!” and hugs the guys neck. The guy, got the girl and they will live happily ever after.

Meet Amanda + Dustin! Amanda is my sweet cousin who I just adore and we are so pumped to have Dustin joining our family! Be sure to check out the pictures at the end of this post for a fun reenactment of the sweet, clever story above!!

Congrats guys!!

Britney + Chase // Engagements//06.15.12

Oh my goodness.. these two are SO much fun! When I shot this their engagement session in Cookeville a few weeks ago all I can remember is laughing the entire time. Britney + Chase are so full of energy and they share a love of life that is so contagious! It spoke to my heart so much because I know David and I share such a great love of life and adventure too and it’s lead us to such great memories .. I just know these two have one non-stop, laughter-packed adventure ahead of them. Britney brought so many great ideas to the table which inspired so many of my own that we just couldn’t tackle them all before the sun went down.. so this is only part 1 or 2 of this sweet couple. Look for more in the coming months and their sweet wedding in October!
