Lauren + Robert // Engagements//04.07.11

There are so many great things I can say about this shoot. Lauren + Robert are just amazing. I met these two while shooting my second wedding of 2010.. they were part of the bridal party and they know how to have a good time. I was so impressed with them and was thrilled when I received an email about their wedding! Due to scheduling conflicts I couldn’t shoot their wedding, but was thrilled that I was able to shoot their engagements! I’m a huge believer in the engagement session telling the story of the couple. These two met at Ridgecrest when they were both counselors there.. it only made sense to shoot in the exact location where their love grew. I caught myself literally smiling while editing their images. Every other picture was of them laughing and just being them. The post after this one will be of the out-takes from the session. They are just too funny not to share. ;) In the meantime.. enjoy the engagement session of Lauren + Robert G!!

Lauren and I connected quickly as we shared the same major, and career dreams, and Robert’s love for Hot Rod and quoting it made it easy to call them “sweet friends”.
